1. The DX – Lighthouse award is issued for working and confirming lighthouse DX stations as defined by the ARRL DXCC list of entities.
- The basic Bronze award will be issued for working and confirming 25 unique DXCC entities (one light per DXCC entity).
- The next level is Silver award for working and confirming 50 unique DXCC entities (one light per DXCC entity).
- The Gold level for working and confirming 100 or more unique DXCC entities (one light per DXCC entity).
Note: Multiple Lighthouses from the same DXCC entity will only count as one unique DXCC towards the awards levels. Working a light in your home entity is not valid for this award. For US based operators note that AK, PR, and HI are considered DXCC entities.
The ARLHS Lighthouse Award is available to SWL’s on a heard bases by submitting SWL QSL cards.
2. All ARLHS General Rules and requirements are applicable.
3. Contacts may be made over any period of years. Contacts must be confirmed in writing in the form of QSL cards. Photocopies or image scans are acceptable and preferred.
4. Application Procedure (Please follow carefully)
- The DX-LH Application Form must be submitted to the Awards Manager (see General Rules for address).
- If QSL cards are sent, they must be accompanied by sufficient postage for their safe return (registered mail is recommended because it is traceable). Photocopies of QSL’s are permitted and recommended. The ARLHS can not be held responsible for any cards or documents other than to exercise normal care while they are in the Society’s possession.
