1. The ARLHS Lighthouse Chaser award is issued for working and confirming unique ARLHS lighthouses anywhere in the world, whether domestic or DX.
- The basic Bronze award will be issued for confirming any 25 unique lighthouses.
- The next level is the Silver chaser award for working and confirming any 50 unique lighthouses.
- The highest level is Gold award for working and confirming any 100 unique lighthouses.
The identifier for the unique lighthouse must be listed on the ARLHS World List of Lights database. The ARLHS Lighthouse Chaser Award is available to SWL’s on a heard bases when accompanied with SWL QSL cards. Activators of a Light listed in the ARLHS database will get credit towards the Chaser Award.
2. All ARLHS General Rules and requirements are applicable.
3. Contacts may be made over any period of years. Contacts must be confirmed in writing, preferably in the form of QSL cards. Photocopies or image scans are acceptable.
4. Application Procedure (Please follow carefully)
- The Chaser Award Application Form must be submitted to the Awards Manager (see General Rules for address).
- If QSL cards are sent, they must be accompanied by sufficient postage for their safe return (registered mail is recommended because it is traceable). Photocopies or image scans of QSL’s are permitted and recommended. The ARLHS can not be held responsible for any cards or documents other than to exercise normal care while they are in the Society’s possession.
