ILLW 2009 Log Entries
Random Drawing for a new Yaesu FT-857D transceiver
We wanted an impartial judge to pick the winner in the ILLW random drawing.
Our ARLHS mascot, "Bandit," a 9-month old Bijon Havanese, has a fondness for paper.
How fitting, then, that he should be the one to pick the winning entry for the 2009 ILLW QSO Party Random Drawing.
Bandit was given a stack of 4x6 cards with the call letters of all those who submitted valid logs for the 2009 ILLW QSO Party.
He chewed on a few, wrestled with several, and finally picked his favorite and ran outside with it.
Here he proudly straddles the winning card he picked from the stack of all log entries.
And the winner is . . . (scroll down)
