The following is the definition of a "museum lighthouse/lightship" as used by the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society (ARLHS). A museum lighthouse/lightship is a lighthouse that has been moved and converted into a museum, or moved to a museum for display, and NOT reactivated as an active aid to navigation. The original location of the museum lighthouse will be kept or added to the list as a "historic" lighthouse. |
