CHESAPEAKE BAY LIGHTHOUSE AWARD
Chesapeake Chapter of the
Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society
This award is open to all Amateurs and SWLs.
A station may be counted if it is located within visual sight of the lighthouse.
It does NOT have to be physically located on the property of the lighthouse. To count
as a Chesapeake Bay lighthouse, stations may be aboard vessels anchored in the vicinity
of the lighthouse or lightship.
Work any five Chesapeake Bay Lighthouses. See the list of
Chesapeake Bay lights
and submit a copy of your log (QSL's not required). Log should indicate call and location
(name) of lighthouse/lightship worked, along with date and time of QSO and the
official ARLHS registration number, such as ARLHS USA-455.
Any mode of communication is permissible. You may use repeaters or even
semaphore flags! Just have fun and enjoy meeting our Chesapeake Bay friends.
Please include $2.00 if you wish a certificate.
Payment not required for stations outside the USA. Submit log and
SASE (9 x 12 size for flat certificate; otherwise the certificate will be folded).
Send all applications and payments to
ARLHS Headquaters, 114 Woodbine Ave, Merchantville, NJ 08109.
