Any and all modes: SSB, CW, RTTY, PSK, FM, SSTV, etc.
Suggested SSB freqs (+/- 20 kc): 1.970, 3.970, 7.270, 14.270, 18.145, 21.370, 28.370
Suggested CW freqs (+/- 20 kc): 1.830, 3.530, 7.030, 14.030, 18.073, 21.030, 28.030
Since this is not a contest, contacts on WARC bands are allowed and will be counted toward certificates.

Non-members send call, serial number, state/province/country
Lighthouse/Lightship Stations send call, ARLHS lighthouse number , state/province/country

SCORING

This is an "event" to celebrate the coming of summer to the Northern Hemisphere, and it is NOT a contest. There are no scores to be kept, no logs to be submitted. However, all contacts count towards the ARLHS awards program.


CERTIFICATES

Certificates
In addition to the ARLHS certificates and awards available to everyone on a regular basis (see ARLHS Awards Program), for participants in the ARLHS Summer Solstice SS event, the following are also offered:
(1) Certificate/QSL for working the ARLHS Club Station KC2HOU in the SSSS.
(2) Certificate for working 50 or more lighthouses or lightships in the SSSS.
(3) Certificate for working 100 or more members of the ARLHS in the SSSS.

For certificates, send a copy of your log, along with a LARGE (9x12-inch) SASE with appropriate USA postage affixed (note postal increase = dllrs US $1.00), to:
